🌍️ Padel World Summit 2025 attracts 5,838 attendees – 40% international
The second edition of the Padel World Summit, held on 27-29 May in Barcelona, was attended by 5,838 visitors, according to organisers International Padel Cluster (CIP) and Fira de Barcelona. Of the attendees, 40% were international, from 80 countries. The event featured 120 exhibitors from 22 countries, and 100 speakers. Padel World Summit will return to Fira de Barcelona on 26-28 May 2026.🇺🇸 Great Divide Brewing Company considers installing up to 12 padel courts
Denver beer firm Great Divide Brewing Company is considering adding up to 12 padel courts to its 65,000 sq foot brewery and Barrel Bar facility in the city’s River North Art District (RiNo). Plans submitted to the city council to renovate the site detail two options: 12 (six indoor and six outdoor) or 11 (five indoor and six outdoor) padel courts.
🇺🇸 Eight-court padel club set to open in El Paso with $3.7m investment
A new padel facility is set to open in El Paso, Texas after plans for a $3.7 million project put forward by Padel Paso Properties were approved by the city council. The site, which will feature eight padel courts and a restaurant, is due to be fully open by December 2025. The operator will receive tax rebates and fee waivers as incentives under the agreement.🇸🇳 International Cup of Padel Clubs to debut in Africa at Senegal resort
The International Cup of Padel Clubs is heading to Africa for the first time, with the 2025 tournament to be held at La Palmeraie Sporting Club in the coastal resort of Saly, Senegal. This year’s event, which is organised by the AECP and is designed to offer amateur players a pro-style experience, will take place from 26 October to 1 November.🇫🇷 Montpellier to get 12 new padel courts in revamp of sports complex
The Nicollin Group, which owns the Ligue 2 football club Montpellier, is to build 10 indoor and two outdoor padel courts as part of a €4.2 million renovation of the Marius Vitou Sports Complex in Pérols, just outside Montpellier. The revamped site will also feature two football fields and five tennis courts. The padel facility is being designed in line with requirements for international competitions.
