AFP Courts unveils new official court for Pro Padel League
The adidas PPL High Competition 2025 was presented at the Padel World Summit in Barcelona.
AFP Courts has launched its latest innovation, the adidas PPL High Competition 2025 court, designed and manufactured exclusively as the official court of the Pro Padel League (PPL).
The court was showcased at the Padel World Summit, held at Fira de Barcelona from 27 to 29 May. The official launch and ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on 28 May at the AFP Courts stand and court in the presence of international representatives from the PPL, adidas, GS Sports Management and future PPL host cities in Mexico and Spain.

AFP Courts, a division of AFP Group, specialises in the design, production and global export of premium padel courts.
The company, which is based in Barcelona, said the adidas PPL High Competition 2025 is a “state-of-the-art court, the result of years of research and development.”
It added: “Designed to guarantee 360° all-round visibility, this court maximises the experience at live broadcasts and events. It incorporates high-competition modular linear LED lighting, exclusive curved pillars and AFP Turf, developed exclusively by AFP Courts and certified by the Instituto de Biomecánica de Valencia (IBV) under the UNE 147301:2018 standard.
“Its optimised structure includes an upper ring for maximum stability, and a lower perimeter ring that improves anchoring and reinforces the overall rigidity of the assembly.
“This court is designed for quick and sturdy assembly, ideal for both temporary events and permanent installations. Its careful aesthetic is complemented by premium gold finishes, official PPL safety padding, and a custom branding design for the Padel World Summit and the 2025 PPL season, featuring logos of adidas franchises and featured players.
“All this makes this model a world reference in high-level padel facilities, which combines functionality, aesthetics and professional performance.”

In attendance at the official presentation in Barcelona was Mike Dorfman, CEO of the PPL and owner of the New York Atlantics franchise, who carried out the ribbon-cutting and outlined the competition’s plans for 2025, including international expansion.
Earlier this month, the PPL, which has 10 teams in the US, Canada and Mexico, announced its 2025 season schedule, with the league’s event footprint expanding across North America and into Europe.
Following its inaugural 2024 season, which featured events in Miami, San Diego and New York, 2025 will see the PPL go international for the first time with events in San Sebastián, Spain and Guadalajara, Mexico.
Andrea Massari, senior licensing manager at adidas, Jorge Caña and José Delgado, the co-CEOs of AFP Courts, and Gus Santoscoy, CEO of GS Sports Management, also spoke at the event, marking the launch of the new court and emphasising the PPL’s growing global footprint and future expansion.
In addition, the new PPL venue in San Sebastián was presented by Roberto Ramajo, director of sports at the Gipuzkoa Provincial Council.
