🇫🇷 New 15-court padel club to be built in south of France
A new padel club with 15 courts is due to open in Cabriès, Bouches-du-Rhône, in the south of France. La Pista Padel Club is set to open in two phases, with four outdoor courts by June 2025, and 11 indoor courts, along with a clubhouse, restaurant and gym, in early 2026.🇬🇧 Padium to open new eight-court venue in Cardiff
Premium padel club Padium is to open a new facility in Cardiff, its first outside London. The new 35,000 sq foot site in Cardiff Bay Retail Park, set to open in late summer 2025, will feature eight indoor courts, as well as a cafe/bar, pro shop, co-working space, players’ lounge, and spa with sauna and plunge pools.
🇬🇧 London to host inaugural FIP Intercontinental Cup
The first edition of the FIP Intercontinental Cup, with a new Americas vs Europe format, will be held in London on 25-27 July 2025. The competition, presented as padel’s equivalent of the Laver and Ryder Cup, will be organised by FIP, Premier Padel and the Hexagon Cup via their strategic partnership.🇺🇸 Charlotte Padel Club set for major expansion
Charlotte Padel Club is planning to open six to eight new covered courts later this summer at Sports Connection's Pickleball Charlotte location. The club, which has more than 200 members, is also set to add indoor courts in the North Lake area of the city as it embarks on a significant expansion.🇺🇸 Alma Padel opens in Chicago with four courts
The first padel club on the North Shore of Chicago has opened in Glenview. Alma Padel has four competition-level courts, as well as a bar, café, smoothie counter, saunas, golf simulator, pro shop, and lounge spaces. The club was founded by Abigail McCulloch, said to be the first solo female padel club founder in the US.
