Tournated links up with World Padel Rating to launch USPA digital platform
First US governing body partnership marks Tournated’s largest padel federation project to date, with fully automated rankings, and a scalable digital foundation designed to support the rapid national growth of padel.
Sports management software giant Tournated has partnered with World Padel Rating (WPR) to launch a new white-label digital platform for the United States Padel Association (USPA).
The initiative marks Tournated’s first governing body partnership in the US and its largest padel federation deployment to date as it looks to set a new standard for how padel is organised, managed, and scaled in advanced markets.
Founded in August 2024 by former professional racquet sport athlete Nikita Ribakovs, Tournated operates in more than 50 countries, working with national and international federations across over 15 sports and serving more than 70,000 competitive athletes worldwide.
USPA says it now operates a unified web and mobile platform that centralises all USPA-sanctioned tournaments, replacing legacy Excel-based workflows with fully automated rankings, and provides a scalable digital foundation to support the rapid national growth of padel.
The association adds that it has a long-term vision to bring clubs, leagues, and tournament organisers under one national ecosystem, enabling any type of event – from grassroots competitions to elite tournaments – while driving licensed player growth and increasing federation revenues.
Through the new platform, USPA says it gains full visibility and control over its competitive structure, while clubs and organisers benefit from a flexible, federation-approved system designed to support high event volumes.
The platform is centred around a deep, native integration with WPR and the USPA membership system, with WPR ID serving as the single login and access point for players.

The platform is designed to support the accelerating growth of padel across the US, where court numbers have reached 979 across 258 active facilities, Image credit: USPA.
Adoption of the platform is already underway, with more than 250 USPA-sanctioned tournaments scheduled for 2026.
Throughout the year, the USPA will continue working closely with Tournated and WPR to expand platform functionality, and onboard more clubs and tournament organisers.
The association says the move supports the accelerating growth of padel across the US, where court numbers have reached 979 across 258 active facilities, according to Misitrano Consulting.
“This is a major milestone for padel in the United States,” said Ribakovs. “Padel is at a historic inflection point, because what happens in the US over the next few years will shape the sport globally.
“Launching our first governing body platform in North America – together with World Padel Rating and USPA – is a strong validation of our vision to give federations full control over their brand, traffic, data, and revenue, while providing infrastructure that can scale as fast as the sport itself.”
Scott Colebourne, CEO of the USPA, added: “Our objective has always been to grow padel in the US in a structured, professional, and scalable way.
“With this platform, we now have the digital infrastructure to unite the entire padel community – clubs, organisers, and players – under one system that supports both growth and governance.
“Furthermore, under this partnership, Tournated now automatically calculates our rankings, which is a significant upgrade for our entire competitive structure. This partnership marks a step forwards in the development and maturity of American padel.”
Charles Meson, CEO of WPR, commented: “Making WPR ID the backbone of the US padel ecosystem ensures consistency and transparency, at all levels of competition and organised play.
“This integration delivers a seamless experience for players while giving USPA and event organisers the operational strength needed to scale padel nationally.”
