Rocket Padel to switch booking platform to Padel Mates

The UK and Denmark operator says full access to member data and time-saving features are among the reasons for the move from Playtomic and Matchi.

Rocket Padel has announced a partnership with Padel Mates as the new booking and software platform across all its clubs as the operator opts to switch from Playtomic for its UK sites and from Matchi for its clubs in Denmark.

The transition has begun with Rocket Padel’s new club in Beckton, East London, which opened on 7 May and has five indoor courts, as well as a spa, gym, restaurant and coworking space.

Rocket Padel, which now has 35 courts across four sites in the UK along with 28 courts across three sites in Denmark, said all its other UK clubs will switch to Padel Mates on 10 June, with “all our clubs in Denmark and beyond to follow shortly after.”

As reported by Padel Business Magazine in December, as well as opening more sites in the UK, Rocket Padel is planning to expand into Spain this year with a new club in Mijas in Costa del Sol featuring eight indoor and five outdoor courts.

Outlining its decision to partner with Padel Mates, Rocket Padel said the platform “offers a modern, all-in-one solution that enhances the member experience and streamlines Rocket Padel club operations.”

The operator said Padel Mates provides a “seamless all-in-one app experience”, with court bookings, tournaments, social games, coaching, box leagues, loyalty programmes and memberships “all in one place”.

“Built-in community features keep players connected and engaged without the need for external apps while gamification features drive higher participation,” it said.

Rocket Padel also pointed to data access and time-saving features as key aspects of the platform’s offering.

“Our clubs retain full access to member data, enabling smarter communication, segmented offers, and seamless integration with business intelligence systems through a powerful API,” it said.

“Padel Mates’ smart design and automation features significantly reduce administrative tasks, allowing clubs to focus on delivering more creative and engaging events.”

Fredrik Kristensson, Rocket Padel co-founder and head of UK, said: “We are thrilled to have a system that not only supports our rapid growth but also offers the features that perfectly align with our business model. With Padel Mates, we can take our operations and customer experience to the next level."

Lars Ingerslev, head of Rocket Padel Denmark, added: “Our vision has always been to create world-class padel experiences, and Padel Mates perfectly supports that ambition. This platform empowers us to better engage with our players, host even more exciting events, and continue pushing the sport of padel forward.”

Daniel Dawood, founder and CEO of Padel Mates, said: “Welcoming Rocket Padel — the leading indoor padel chain in Europe — to the Padel Mates platform is a major milestone for us. It's exciting to partner with an organisation that shares our passion for innovation and delivering a top-tier experience for players across the continent."
