  • 🇦🇷 Argentina to host world’s first professional padel tournament on clay

    The Argentina Padel Tour is set to become the first professional padel competition to be played on clay. The independent team event will be held at the Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club on 20-22 December. Organisers plan to make it an annual tournament.

  • 🇺🇸 LaBella sets up new racquet sports design studio in Charlotte

    New York-based architecture firm LaBella has formed a racquet sports design studio in Charlotte, North Carolina. It has been set up to meet the demand for new padel, pickleball and tennis facilities across the US from universities, municipalities, entertainment developers, and mixed-use developers.

  • 🇬🇧 WPA expands into UK with £1 million facility in Nottinghamshire

    World Padel Academy (WPA) has become the first UAE-based padel company to expand internationally after opening a new £1 million four-court site next to Mansfield Town Football Club in Nottinghamshire, England. The development forms part of a wider £10 million investment by WPA to promote the sport in the UK. 

  • 🇫🇷 Armoric Sports opens new five-court padel site in Brittany
    French company Armoric Sports has opened a new padel facility in Brézillet, Brittany featuring five indoor padel courts and two golf simulators. It follows the opening of its first site in nearby Plérin, which has four indoor padel courts as well as a football pitch, badminton court and shuffleboard courts.

  • 🇬🇧 Plans approved for three-court padel club in Greater Manchester

    Plans have been approved for UK padel company Social Sports Society to construct a new three-court club in Stockport, Greater Manchester. The 1,500 square metre facility will be just outside the railway station and will include a reception area made from recycled shipping containers.
