  • 🇸🇪 Ibrahimovic’s Padel Zenter opens new 14-court site near Stockholm

    Padel Zenter, owned by Swedish former footballer Zlatan Ibrahimović, has opened a new facility in Silverdal, just north of Stockholm. With 14 courts, spread over two floors, it is one of the largest padel sites in the country. Padel Zenter has four other clubs in Sweden and one in Milan.

  • 🇪🇸 Head strikes new padel sponsorship deals in Spain

    Head has agreed two new sponsorship deals with padel organisations in Spain. The brand has signed up with the international amateur padel competition Liga Lapi, and the Extremadura Padel Federation. All matches organised by both partners will use the Head Padel Pro+ as the official ball.

  • 🇪🇸 Valencia Padel Federation and court suppliers help padel clubs recover from floods

    The Padel Federation of the Valencian Community has joined forces with eight court and carpet construction companies to help padel clubs recover from the recent devastating floods in the region. Each firm is offering reduced prices so clubs can access what they need to repair and replace facilities.

  • 🇧🇪 Permit refused for Belgian padel club over noise pollution complaints

    A planning permit has been refused for a padel club in Heusy, near Liège in Belgium, following 84 public complaints, mostly expressing concerns over noise pollution, as well as an increase in road traffic. The proposed site was to have six courts and a café.

  • 🇫🇷 Ex-football referee Sébastien Marty to open French club MS Padel in 2025

    The former French professional football referee Sébastien Marty is to open MS Padel, a new padel club in Saint-Avé, near Vannes in western France in 2025. Work is now underway on the 2,500 square metre facility, which will have six nine-metre high courts, two seminar rooms, a clubhouse and viewing balcony.
