The Saudi Arabia Padel Federation has struck a partnership with the Madrid Padel Federation (FMP) to help boost development of the sport in Saudi Arabia and internationally. The two organisations signed a memorandum of understanding during the Padel World Summit, held on 27-29 May in Barcelona. The agreement covers areas including coaching, youth development and sports management.
šŗšø Eight Sleep to sponsor 6LoveSportsā Miami Women's Padel League
Womenās padel community 6LoveSports has struck a deal with New York-based sleep fitness company Eight Sleep to sponsor its flagship competition, the Miami Women's Padel League. The next season of the competition begins on 7 August, 2025, with over 160 women set to participate across multiple divisions. To mark the new partnership, Eight Sleep will award two Pod 5s to the winning team for each league season.š¬š§ Student to develop mezzanine padel courts plan after winning competition
A York student has won top prize at the Royal Agricultural Universityās Grand Idea competition for his plan to build mezzanine padel courts in existing sports stadia. Daniel Blacker, 28, who won Ā£5,000, is now developing the project through his fatherās firm, Blacker Steel Fabrications, and is hoping to get the go-ahead to build courts at York Cityās LNER Community Stadium in the coming weeks.š§š· New sports complex with six padel courts to open in Blumenau
A new sports facility with five padel courts is to open in the city of Blumenau in southern Brazil. The 5,000 sq m Nettz Arena will also have six courts for beach tennis and sand volleyball. The R$7 million (US$1.25 million) complex is due to open in the second half of 2025.
