  • 🇬🇧 First Anglo American Padel Cup to be held in London in October 2025
    The first annual Anglo American Padel Cup is to take place at Rocket Padel Beckton in London on 10-11 October 2025, with next year’s edition to be hosted in the US. Organisers said the tournament will feature elite competitors from both nations, contesting across four categories of play — Open, 40s, 50s and 60s — with equal representation across men’s and women’s teams.

  • 🇺🇸 Pro Padel League raises $10 million from seed round

    The Pro Padel League (PPL) has announced its first institutional investment, with a $10 million seed round led by venture capital firm Left Lane Capital. PPL said it plans to use the capital to increase player incentives, expand events, upgrade tournament conditions, make key front office appointments, including CRO, CFO and commissioner, and set up a permanent HQ.

  • 🇳🇱 New three-storey padel facility to be constructed in Rotterdam
    A new three-storey facility with six padel courts is to be built at the Max Planckplaats Sports Complex in Ommoord, Rotterdam. The site will feature a roof terrace with catering facilities, as well as a ground floor space for activities such as CrossFit or spinning. Sound-absorbing materials will be used to prevent noise pollution.

  • 🇫🇷 Six-court padel club backed by Michaël Llodra to be built in Burgundy
    Work on a new padel complex in Burgundy backed by former French tennis player Michaël Llodra is expected to start in mid-April. The €2.5 million facility in the town of Beaune will feature six padel courts on a plot of around 5,000 sq m located in the Porte de Beaune business park.

  • 🇳🇱 Dutch padel champion Steffie Weterings strikes sponsorship deal with EasyToys
    Three-time Dutch padel champion Steffie Weterings has struck a new sponsorship deal with online adult toys retailer EasyToys. The former professional tennis player wore a shirt featuring the brand’s logo for the first time during NK Padel on 19-23 March in Eindhoven, where she retained her national title.
