🌏️ Reap named as title sponsor for Asia Padel Events
Asia Padel Events (APE), which is delivering new CUPRA FIP Tour competitions across the continent in 2025, has named the global financial technology provider Reap, which is based in Hong Kong, as the title sponsor of all its tournaments. This year’s CUPRA FIP Tour is expanding to Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam.🇬🇧 Empower Padel strikes partnership with wealth manager Evelyn Partners
Empower Padel, a global community for female padel players, has struck a three-year partnership with UK wealth manager Evelyn Partners. The two organisations will host a series of events designed to inspire women and girls to take up a team sport such as padel. The first event will take place in London on 7 March to celebrate International Women’s Day.
🇫🇷 Poitiers to get new sports and leisure complex with seven padel courts
Gallery République, a new sports and leisure complex featuring seven padel courts, is set to open in the city of Poitiers in western France in April 2025. The 5,000 m² site will also have a climbing wall, as well as boxing, fitness, yoga and pilates facilities, fitness studios, and wellness and health centres.🇬🇧 LTA agrees three-year deal with Padel-TV to broadcast British Tour
The Lawn Tennis Association (LTA), the national governing body for tennis and padel in the UK, has announced a three-year partnership with Padel-TV as its official digital streaming partner for the sport. The agreement covers all Grade 1 British Tour and domestic FIP events from April 2025 and will also generate exclusive content, including player interviews and behind-the-scenes access.🇺🇸 New three-court indoor padel club to open in Milwaukee
Padel MKE, a new indoor padel club, is due to open later this year in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The facility, which will feature three courts, will be built in a converted industrial building in the south of the city. The club will host events, tournaments and coaching programmes designed to cater for all skill levels.

Padel is continuing its strong growth in Spain, with new data showing that the number of courts rose by 5% to 17,000 and player licenses hit a record 109,040 in 2024.
