Debut US National Padel League season attracts over 1,900 players
The new competition featured more than 160 teams representing 19 padel clubs, and took place in 37 cities across six regions during its inaugural season.
Organisers of the US National Padel League (NPL) claim it has set a new benchmark for the sport ahead of the National Finals after proving strong demand for a structured, merit-based competitive pathway across the country.
Following a record-breaking inaugural season, as it became the largest structured amateur team padel platform in the US, the NPL will host the National Finals for Season 1 of its USA National Team League from March 13-15 at Reserve Sole Mia in North Miami.
Backed by the US Padel Association (USPA), the league activated 37 cities across six major regions during its debut season, with over 1,900 registered players and more than 160 teams representing 19 padel clubs.
The National Finals will represent the championship event for the Fall 2025 season of the USA National Team League and will feature 380 qualified players.
All finalists will receive a three-day pass to RacquetX, the league’s official experiential partner.

The NPL says the Finals mark the culmination of a season in which it became the premier amateur padel team competition in the US, marking a move beyond standalone tournaments to create a comprehensive national ecosystem.
The league claims it has established a proven pathway, with a rigorous City Stage followed by a Regional Championship and National Finals, delivering a structure which ensured only the most deserving teams advanced.
Organisers also point to a broad appeal and inclusive reach, with participants ranging in age from 14 to 71.
An additional feature of the season was the Delta Golden Ticket campaign, providing national champions with travel vouchers as awards.
The NPL says the partnership highlights its ability to integrate commercial value into the amateur experience, providing players with a professional-grade atmosphere and rewards.
“This season wasn’t just about playing padel; it was about building a legitimate, merit-based infrastructure for the sport in the US,” said National Padel League Director, Luis Fernando Ramirez Aristeguieta.
“By connecting local clubs to a national stage, we have created a validated platform where players can truly represent their cities and compete for a national title. The scale we’ve achieved in Season 1 is just the beginning.”
